After surveying numerous controlled studies results concerning obesity, it becomes obvious that the practice of weight management can be very rewarding in terms of developing a life of health, energy and fitness. The sad truth is, if one is carrying too much body fat, they run a much higher risk of succombing to to various maladies than those individuals with less body fat. Despite the fact that the clinical definition of obesity is a surplus of body fat (not body weight), the percentage of body fat composition can, for the most part be fairly accurately estimated by age, height and weight. More diseases that are linked to obesity include: strokes due to cardiovascular problems, blood clotting from poor circulation, gall bladder and kidney complications, movement hindering osteoarthritis and breathing disorders such as sleep apnea.

 

Undeniably, in response to all this information, for good health, everyone needs to be conscious of weight management. It is strongly suggested that people find activities they enjoy doing. if you are inclined towards athletics, great. If not, remember that just taking a stroll can be very good exercise.
